My approach, my background

The human behind the sessions.
My name is Laura. I was born in Argentina, and over the years, life and work have taken me to London, Italy, and Saudi Arabia. These experiences have shaped the way I listen — with curiosity, patience, and respect for difference. I'm a psychologist, trained in mindfulness-based interventions, trauma-sensitive approaches, and tools for navigating emotional overwhelm, stress, and challenging behaviours. I work with adults navigating anxiety, low mood, disconnection, and the quiet questions that come up in therapy.

Since 2020, I’ve worked in psychiatric hospitals and forensic settings, supporting individuals navigating conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and substance use. These experiences have expanded my understanding of mental health in its many forms and strengthened my trust in slow work, careful listening, and care that’s shaped by each person’s story.

My intention is to offer a space where you can explore, at your pace, what well-being means for you. We’ll work together to build tools, notice patterns, and move toward a sense of grounding and connection — in a way that feels real, sustainable, and aligned with your values.

My approach blends behavioral science, mindfulness, and non-violent communication. At its core, it’s about building self-awareness, emotional resilience, and more honest, compassionate relationships — with yourself and with others.

I believe in meeting you where you are, without judgment, and moving forward together at a pace that feels right for you.

Mindfulness helps us stay present, even when things feel difficult — allowing you to respond with more clarity and less overwhelm. Non-violent communication offers ways to express yourself with honesty and care, supporting stronger, healthier connections. And insights from behavioral science help us create simple, practical strategies that make sense in your daily life.

This approach has been helpful for people dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, autism, and life transitions — but also for anyone who’s simply seeking more balance, space, and presence.

My aim is to support you in finding a kind of well-being that’s real, sustainable, and meaningful to you.
